Harambee Stars U20 coach Salim Babu has announced his squad for the upcoming AFCON U20 CECAFA region qualifiers, set to take place in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, from October 6 to 20.
The team called up will enter a residential training camp in Nairobi on September 22 before traveling to Tanzania on October 4 after final roster adjustments.
Those called include;
Goalkeepers: Ibrahim Wanzala, Sammy Saboke , Benard Maeri , Joshua Keya and Peter Juma
Defenders: Joseph Bate, Amos Wanjala, Manzur Okwaro, Baron Ochieng, Collins Ochieng, Rodgers Wasega, Francis Gethoi and Mohammed Aden Kaire
Midfielders: Stanley Wilson, Andres Odhiambo, Elly Owande, Kevin Wangaya, Kelly Madada, Lucas Maina, Benard Odhiambo, Wiliam Gitamu, Hamisi Otieno, Irad Mushidi and Houstin Oluoch.
Forwards: Tyron Kariuki, Aldrine Kibet, Louise Ingavi, Dalphene Omuri, Mark Shaban, Austine Odongo, Jeremy Bisau, Abdalla Egesa, Javan Omondi, Syphas Otieno, Isaac Oweri, Harrison Amalemba, Linus Munyao, Hassan Beja, Nesta Olum, Adrian Oloo, Dancan Odhiambo, Humphrey Aroko, Oliver Machaka, Lawrence Ouma, Clinton Asiako, Henry Omollo and Izadin Mohammed.
Coach Babu will be supported by assistant coach Anthony Akhulia as they aim to secure qualification for the continental tournament.
