AS Roma have announced the termination of manager Daniele De Rossi’s contract following a winless start to the new Serie A season. De Rossi, a club legend and former captain, took over as manager in 2023 after José Mourinho’s departure.
Although there was initial optimism and a promising start, the team has struggled to find consistency raising concerns about his future. Since the start of the season, the club has drawn three games and lost one in their four Serie A matches marking their worst start since the 2010/11 season.

The club has finally sacked him and released a statement expressing their gratitude for De Rossi’s contributions to the club both as a manager.
