Bayern Munich coach Vincent Kompany has addressed critics who questioned his suitability for the Bayern Munich coaching role.
“I’ll tell you something in a quick way just to prove a point. I was born in Brussels, my dad was a refugee who came from Congo. What are my chances of even playing in the Premier League, winning something as a player? The odds were 0.000 something.” he spoke. “Do you just stop believing in yourself because of what other people say?” Said Mr. Kompany
Kompany was speaking to the press after his team beat Dinamo Zagreb 9 – 2 in the UEFA Champions League at the Allianz Arena.
“If you fail, you fail; if you succeed, you succeed. But you can always become better. I really don’t take the criticism personal.” Kompany added.
Bayern have started the season on a high note and are currently the log leaders in the Bundesliga having won all their three matches.
