The MP, through his lawyers Otiende Amolo and Elisha Ongoya, had argued before the Appellate Court judges that the Ksh.313 million that formed the basis of his conviction was lawfully paid out to him and Wakhungu.
Waluke has been out of jail on bail. Should the Judges have declined his prayers, the Sirisia MP would have gone back to prison to serve his 67-year jail term and equally lose his Parliamentary seat.
