The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) launched a mission on Saturday morning targeting the Wadi Seyedna military base in Omdurman. The RSF described this mission as a masterstroke of tactical precision and strategic foresight, underscored by the RSF’s commitment to securing decisive victories on the battlefield.
RSF soldiers, in this charm offensive, neutralised multiple Antonov and K8 warplanes, drones, and a significant array of military vehicles and equipment stationed at the airbase. This decisive strike dealt a crippling blow to the Sudanese Armed Forces’ military capabilities
RSF Spokesperson described Saturday’s victory as a critical milestone in their Plan B — which is touted as a comprehensive strategy to fully dismantle the entrenched military strongholds and command centres of the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and its allied militias linked to the terrorist Islamic Movement.
The RSF maintains that its core focus is on transformatively liberating the Sudanese people from decades of tyranny.
“This is the final chapter in our struggle to dismantle the oppressive legacy of the past, and to eradicate the stranglehold of the jihadist Islamic Movement and its brethren from the former regime on our nation’s future.” Read the Spokesperson’s statement
“Our mission transcends the battlefield: we remain steadfast in our commitment to rebuilding Sudan and ushering in a renewed nation rooted in justice, equality, peace, democracy, and stability.” Concludes the statement
